Christmas Calligraphy Workshop

Learn the beautiful art of modern calligraphy with a festive theme with Francesca, a professional Illustrator and Calligrapher based in Salisbury. This workshop is designed for complete beginners so no experience is necessary. 

You will start by understanding the basics of how to use the nib with simple exercises learning to create thick and thin strokes, then applying these techniques to working your way through the alphabet creating letterforms in calligraphy. You will then learn to join letters and write words in a modern calligraphy style with lots of guidance and demonstrations from Francesca.

Towards the end of the session you will apply your new skills to create some beautiful personalised Christmas tags, cards and Christmas decorations!

All materials are provided including a starter kit which you will take home with you to continue your calligraphy practice.
