About Pod & Pip

Pod & Pip's story

The journey started with the dream of setting up a business to offer that something a little bit different for flower lovers, either wanting to order flowers for a gift, or to enjoy a morning learning basic floristry techniques.

One thing I have learnt, is to keep things simple. So when I started Pod & Pip, the idea was simple; fresh, seasonal flowers and bouquets delivered every week and flower filled fun workshops. It's that simple.

We are now able to offer a lovely range of plants for the home as well, and carefully selected botanically inspired homewares and gifts from our workshop. We source from a number of locally and establishing small businesses to provide something a little bit different and aligned to our ethos. (We also have floristry sundries for those feeling creative!)

My love of plants, flowers and all things botanical really flourished when I studied for an applied Biology degree specialising in crop and soil science. This provided me with a firm understanding of how and why plants and flowers grow and the botany and science behind it.

Coupled with my love of the countryside from growing up in the Cotswolds, and coming from a farming family this has influenced my relaxed country flowers style. I'm most at home in my welly boots enjoying the local flora and fauna!
