By the end of the day you will have learnt two wonderful new skills, to stencil print and make professional looking lampshades!
This workshop is perfect for beginners, with full step-by-step learning throughout the day.
Using Melanie’s unique designs and system of stencil printing inspired by nature, there will be plenty of time to practice and build your stencilling confidence in the first part of the morning.
With plenty of support and guidance on composition, the exciting part of creating your own lampshade printed pattern is the next stage. An attractive selection of pre-mixed paints will be ready for you to use, the only challenge is choosing which colours you want to stencil with!
The final part of the day is learning how to construct your lampshade.
All materials supplied, including the kit to make a 30cm dia drum lampshade.
Aprons will be available on the day, but best to wear clothes you are happy to get mucky.
