Mother’s Day Gifting

Mothering Sunday has evolved from a time when people would visit their ‘Mother Church’ on the fourth Sunday of Lent, and it became a tradition that domestic servants were given this day off to visit their own church and families often taking gifts and flowers for their mothers.

Mothering Sunday has continued to be a day to celebrate and say thank you to our mums and we have some lovely gift ideas to do just that.

Always super popular for this day, we have put together a wonderful selection of flowers from our Spring Bundle packed with spring blooms to special Mother’s Day Bouquets, potted spring bulbs from mini muscari in antique style pots to huge baskets of ‘Bridal Crown’ narcissus.

We have so wonderful chocolates and chocolate gift hampers for the Mums who can’t resist chocolate through to gardening gifts and bath and body goodies to pamper.

Our flower and gardening workshops are always popular for a Mother’s Day gift so do take a look at what’s coming up.

Finally our Pod & Pip café with be open for special homemade cream teas as well as our usual delicious coffee, cake and light lunches the week leading up to Mother’s Day with extended opening hours in the workshop and café Saturday 27th March 10-4pm. A lovely Mother’s Day treat!
